Former TV presenter Sarah Khalifa has been sentenced to death in Egypt on drug-related charges, according to the portal Masrawy. Khalifa was part of a criminal group involved in drug production. In 2025, authorities discovered their lab disguised as an apartment in a prestigious Cairo neighborhood. Police seized 750 kg of narcotics.
