Geneva's reputation as a rich haven under threat due to robberies, FT reports

Geneva's reputation as a haven for the wealthy is under threat due to a series of robberies, according to the FT citing local law enforcement. Police reported 18 break-ins in 2025, during which suspects entered homes, threatened owners with weapons, forced them to open safes, and then fled across the border into France. Among the victims was four-time Formula-1 world champion Alain Prost.
