Germany's planned social benefit cuts to affect around 8 million people

Around 8 million people in Germany will be affected by planned cuts to social benefits, according to DPA. A document prepared by a board member of the Left Party mentions proposed reductions in payments for care of the sick, housing subsidies, child care allowances, emergency child supplements, and advance alimony payments.
