Global Ocean Temperature Hits Record High in July 2026

The average temperature of the World Ocean in July 2026 reached 20.96 degrees Celsius, the highest level ever recorded, the European Copernicus climate service reported on Monday. "This figure exceeded the previous record of 20.89 degrees Celsius set in July 2023," the service said in a statement.
