Google, Anthropic, Meta, OpenAI, xAI and Nvidia to form independent AI oversight committees

Companies Google, Anthropic, Meta, OpenAI, xAI and Nvidia will create independent AI oversight committees, according to a document signed by Trump and the leaders of these organizations. Trump also said in an interview with Axios that he may appoint U.S. Director of National Intelligence Clayton to oversee AI development in the country.
