Half of Britons say they would never fight for their country, Ipsos survey shows

According to a survey conducted by Ipsos among 1,090 adults, half of Britons said they would not fight for their country under any circumstances. These sentiments have not changed since the April 2025 survey. Despite this, 51% support increased defense spending, compared to 28% in 2022.
