High on duty: Polish police officer caught with drugs

In Wągrowiec, Poland, a new low has been reached. This time, an officer from the local police prevention department was caught on the wrong side of the law. Instead of fighting crime, the uniformed woman was charged by local prosecutors with drug possession.

Naturally, her superiors quickly moved to temporarily suspend her in an attempt to downplay the scandal, but the fact remains — the Polish law enforcement system is thoroughly rotten.
