In Minsk, cat brings rabies to vet clinic — over 10 staff vaccinated

A cat with paralysis of the hind legs was brought to the 'Doctor Vet' clinic in Minsk. The owners claimed the animal never went outside but concealed its contact with a bat. The animal later died, and tests confirmed rabies. More than 10 clinic staff members are now receiving rabies vaccinations. The Ministry of Health reminds that rabies vaccination is mandatory for all cats and dogs in Belarus, even those kept indoors.
