Minsk Introduces First Textile Waste Collection Containers

Minsk has introduced its first containers for collecting textile waste. Currently, textile items can be dropped off at four locations: Kosmonavtov St. 33, Lidskaya St. 14, Kuntsyevshchina St. 17, and Pritytskogo St. 156. Another 50 containers will be installed by the end of 2026 in the Moscow, Frunzensk, and Oktyabrsk districts. By 2027, such collection points will be available in all city districts—a significant step toward improving waste sorting in the capital.
