Alexander Lukashenko inspects tram equipment prototypes

Alexander Lukashenko inspected ready-made samples of tram equipment, including a three-section low-floor tram car being manufactured for Chelyabinsk, where a hybrid underground-surface metro tram system is being developed, combining regular tram tracks with underground tunnels. The president instructed officials to study this experience carefully in Minsk, thoroughly analyze it, and assess whether, with certain modifications, this technology could be adapted to domestic needs for metro operations. He noted potential for import substitution.
