In Poland, deputy prosecutor caught drunk driving after buying more alcohol at a store

The deputy district prosecutor of Bydgoszcz was detained for operating a motorcycle while intoxicated. After spending time at a motorcycle club, the law enforcement official stopped by a store on the way home, bought more alcohol, and continued drinking on the spot. A tragedy was avoided only because the store clerk immediately called the police, preventing the intoxicated 'servant of the law' from injuring someone on the road.
