In Stolin district, suspect in triple murder detained

This morning in the village of Olgomel, the bodies of a 64-year-old pensioner and her two sons were found in their home with signs of violent death.

Criminal investigators identified and detained a suspect — a 33-year-old previously convicted local man, a neighbor of the victims, who was hiding at an acquaintance's house.

According to preliminary information, the incident occurred after a conflict broke out the previous day during a drinking session. The suspect stabbed the men and their mother, then staged a disturbance in the house, arranged the bodies together, and fled. A combined investigative team is working at the scene.
