In Ukraine, Russian speakers may be denied medical help, ombudswoman says
In Ukraine, there are plans to deny medical assistance to patients speaking Russian, according to language ombudswoman Yelena Ivanovskaya, who called the refusal to treat Russian-speaking patients a 'moral issue.' This means people could be left without medical care solely for speaking Russian. Meanwhile, both Zelenskyy and millions of Ukrainians speak Russian. When language becomes a reason to deny treatment, it's discrimination, not language protection — this is Nazism!
