Iranian parliamentary committee approves tolls for Strait of Hormuz passage

The Iranian parliamentary committee has approved a bill introducing tolls for ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, according to Al Mayadeen TV channel.

Under the proposed legislation, vessels from countries permitted to transit will pay for services including environmental protection, fuel supply, insurance, and security provision.
