Israel turns back Ethiopian plane over Indonesian pilot

Israeli authorities turned back a cargo flight operated by Ethiopian Airlines en route from Addis Ababa to Tel Aviv. According to Israeli aviation rules, pilots from countries that do not have diplomatic relations with Israel are not permitted to fly into the country. The plane was denied landing and returned to Ethiopia.
