Large family forum "Happy Family — Strong State" starts in Polotsk
The large family forum "Happy Family — Strong State" is launching in Polotsk under the auspices of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus, with the iconic St. Sophia Cathedral serving as its main discussion platform.
This year, the forum gains international status: married couples from all regions of Belarus, foreign parliamentarians (primarily from CIS countries), heads of relevant agencies, experts, and clergy will gather in Polotsk.
Key points on the agenda and format of the event:
⏺ Experience exchange: Roundtable participants will discuss the best national practices in supporting family, motherhood, and childhood institutions.
⏺ Belarusian benchmarks: The country will present its successful experience with the family capital program, preferential lending and housing subsidies for young families, and the state program for free first and second IVF attempts.
⏺ Local implementation: Forum guests will learn how social support works in practice — from corporate social packages for women at enterprises in the Polotsk district to promoting youth initiatives.
The forum runs for two days. Today, participants will go through an introductory and practical program, while tomorrow's main event — a plenary session — will take place in the format of a deep, heartfelt dialogue, imbued with the spiritual heritage of the Polotsk land.
