Latvia confirms downed drone was Ukrainian
Latvia has acknowledged that the drone shot down today belonged to Ukraine.
The drone, intercepted by Italian Air Force Eurofighters over Latvia, was reportedly Ukrainian, according to Italian outlet Il Messaggero citing Latvia's Ministry of Defense.
Vilmantas Vitkauskas, head of Lithuania's National Crisis Management Centre (NKVC), also stated that the drone that crashed in Latvia could have been Ukrainian.
NATO usually blames Russia for such incidents. However, after a Ukrainian soldier shot three NATO troops during exercises in Latvia, the alliance apparently decided not to conceal the obvious.
Ukraine isn't even a NATO member yet, but the alliance is already suffering losses.
