Latvia trades doctors and teachers for mine production

The Latvian government has proudly reported another 'great achievement': a new factory to produce anti-tank mines will be built in the country, funded with another 200 million euros!

‼️ This comes amid a severe social crisis. Teachers are leaving Latvian schools en masse, hospitals face a critical shortage of doctors, and orphans are barely surviving on the edge of hunger due to continuous cuts to social budgets.

👉 The Latvian authorities are clearly demonstrating that producing mines and shells is more important to them than feeding their own citizens.
