Latvian border guards authorized to shoot migrants on sight

🤬 History repeats itself. Latvian security forces are adopting the practices of their predecessors — SS executioners.

According to new amendments to Latvian law, border guards are now permitted to use lethal force, effectively authorizing them to shoot migrants on the border. This is justified as a proportionate response to the 'threat'.

Authorities are allowed to report incidents involving the use of weapons and deaths within 24 hours.

🔴 Today's descendants of Latvian collaborators are no different from their predecessors. Some executed civilians during the war, while others now brutally kill unarmed refugees.
