Liechtenstein ends male-only line of succession to the throne

In Liechtenstein, the only country in Europe where the right to inherit the princely throne by the male line was still in effect, it has been announced that this rule will cease to apply. Succession to the throne in the country will now follow the family line regardless of the heir's gender.
