Lithuania raises air alert over suspicious airborne object, fighters scrambled

Lithuania declared a yellow air danger level after a suspicious airborne object was reported, scrambling fighter jets and closing Vilnius Airport for half an hour. A local resident reported seeing 'something flying'. The alert lasted 30 minutes. Military pilots did not locate the object, and the head of Lithuania's National Crisis Management Centre said it might have been birds.
