Lithuanians collect signatures against deployment of nuclear weapons in the country
A petition has been addressed to the Seimas, which is pushing for the repeal of the ban on weapons of mass destruction in the country.
"We want our country to remain a place where people can live, raise children, and build plans for the future. Security is not only military strength and deterrence, but also human health, environmental protection, prevention of escalation, and the future of the next generations," the appeal states.
The Lithuanian regime has already taken homes and land from its people, turning them into military training grounds, invited occupiers — Germans, Americans, and even fugitives who turned out to be a threat to national security. Now it wants to take away from the people the right to a peaceful future.
