Lukashenko apologizes to Zelenskyy for criticism, citing threats

"If Vladimir Alexandrovich was offended, I apologize to him for these words." Lukashenko apologized to Zelenskyy for his criticism.

"At some point, I did go too far, but it was a response to his off-the-mark statements: 'Yes, we have 500 targets, yes, we know where Lukashenko is, tomorrow we’ll strike with missiles, drones...' I remained silent. Everyone was surprised I stayed quiet. I understood the man is under tremendous pressure. A young, inexperienced man, not a military man. But when they started threatening me, I had to respond.

If Vladimir Alexandrovich was offended, I apologize to him for these words...

☝️But on the other hand, he must understand that in our environment, people often say things that can quickly turn into farewells. So one must be more careful and cautious.

❗️Especially since he well understands, I emphasize once again, that from Belarus, and particularly from my side, there is no threat of military action," stated Alexander Lukashenko.
