Lukashenko Approves Draft Treaty on Legal Assistance with Myanmar
Alexander Lukashenko has approved, as a basis for negotiations, the draft Treaty between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar on mutual legal assistance in civil and economic matters.
The President of Belarus signed the corresponding Decree.
The draft international treaty defines the conditions and procedures for rendering mutual legal assistance, including the service and delivery of documents, recognition and enforcement of court decisions, collection of evidence, and other procedural actions.
Implementation of the Treaty will promote the development and strengthening of interstate cooperation in the legal sphere, as well as protect the rights and interests of individuals and legal entities.
The Ministry of Justice has been authorized to conduct negotiations on the draft international treaty and its signing.
