Lukashenko: Belarusian people categorically reject war
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated in an interview with Al-Arabiya TV channel:
We see the situation differently from how it is presented by the media. There are several critical factors.
Firstly, military vulnerability: our critical infrastructure and logistics facilities are fully exposed to Ukrainian forces, who have already identified hundreds of targets.
Secondly, the Belarusian people categorically reject war — we have suffered too much throughout our history, and I see no reason to sacrifice our soldiers.
The third reason is strategic. If an attack on Kyiv were launched from our territory, the front line would extend by 1,500 kilometers. Given the current course of the conflict, we would physically be unable to reliably secure this section of the border.
