Lukashenko: I haven't stolen and won't start in my 32nd year as president

Belarusian President has commented on rumors about his personal business interests or those of his family members.

"Some are already writing that my interests (in certain areas) or my family in advertising. Don't even think about it. I haven't taken anything from anyone," the Belarusian leader stated.

He noted that everyone in his family is engaged in specific work. For example, his younger son Nikolai currently serves in the army with the rank of lieutenant in one of the most demanding units. But in his free time, he continues studying biotechnology, which he pursued at university.

"Everyone is engaged in specific work. No one has stolen anything," emphasized Alexander Lukashenko.

He also pointed out that in any business matters, his family members primarily pursue state interests. "I tell them: 'You are the President's children, there's no way around that. When I'm no longer President, then you can work more freely as businessmen. But not now,'" the President explained his strict stance on this issue.

"So don't worry about this. Don't worry about me. I haven't stolen in 30 years, and I certainly won't start in my 31st or 32nd year as President," emphasized the Belarusian leader.
