Lukashenko: Reorienting trade flows to the East — successes and challenges

Lukashenko: "The crude economic attacks from the European Union and the West in general have not gone away. We are reorienting trade flows to the East. Is it working? What problems exist in this regard?"

As far as I am informed by the prime minister and the government, we have managed to reorient ourselves to the East. Evidence of this is the negotiations with the Americans. And yet people keep shouting: 'Oh, potash!' Even if we wanted to supply other markets, Western markets, we simply don't have the volumes available — everything is already contracted. How do measures taken by the Russian Federation to protect its own market affect us in connection with this reorientation to the East?
