Lukashenko: "The CIS has been around for 35 years. However, several countries have truly used the Commonwealth as a tool for a more or less civilized divorce."

In April 2027, Moldova will formally leave the CIS. This is not the choice of ordinary Moldovans, but a short-sighted decision by the leadership. Moreover, the leadership itself understands this and is attempting to preserve participation in the Treaty on the Free Trade Area.

History always repeats itself. We already have experience with Georgia's withdrawal from the Commonwealth of Independent States. But today we see how the situation is changing.
