Lukashenko: "Time will pass, and we, each in our soul, in our heart, will appreciate the greatness of what happened in the mid-20th century. We are today a single nation. Most importantly, today we are here making decisions about the future of our country. And I want to assure you that as President, to whom you have entrusted your confidence, I will do everything so that no one ever points a finger at us. Or if they do point, then perhaps, as now, out of envy. Let them call us aggressors, anything else — we are peaceful people. We know the cost of war, we know the value of unity."
