Lukashenko: Your contribution to the country's food security is impressive

The President congratulated participants and guests of the regional festival fair 'Dazhynki-2026' in Korelichi.

"Dear farmers of the Grodno Region! Heartfelt congratulations on this long-awaited and truly national holiday.

Annual 'Dazhynki' is our gratitude to those who work in the fields from dawn to dusk. The rural population of Grodno Region are known as diligent stewards who do not fear difficulties. Even after the August storm that destroyed entire fields, you did not give up, but united and stood firm.

Thank you to the thousands-strong team of professionals for your worthy results. Your collective contribution to the country's food security is impressive: about 1.5 million tons of grain and legume crops, with the highest grain yield in Belarus — nearly 50 centners per hectare. Indicators for winter rapeseed production are also among the best in the republic.

Today, Korelichi, hosting the regional festival fair, welcomes guests in a new appearance: roads and housing have been renovated, sports and social facilities built, and a modern house constructed for young agricultural specialists. This is not just a gift to the district center on its 630th anniversary, but another investment in the future of those who feed the country. I am confident that farmers of the Neman region will continue to successfully meet all tasks facing the agro-industrial sector.
