Three tons of beef seized in Mogilev Region during attempted illegal export

In the Gorky district, a batch of beef weighing about three tons was detained during an attempted illegal export abroad. There were no accompanying documents for the cargo. As a result of an investigation, it was established that employees of the slaughterhouse site had been stealing the products, which were then sold to private individuals. A criminal case has been initiated for embezzlement through abuse of official powers on a large scale. The suspects face up to 10 years in prison.
