Major fire engulfs the Miller Mansion in St. Petersburg
The building was constructed in 1879–1880 according to the design of architect Ferdinand Loginovich Miller for his brother — retired engineer-lieutenant colonel Karl Miller. The family owned it until 1917.
The mansion is a cultural heritage site of regional significance. Recently, it had been vacant but was scheduled for large-scale restoration into luxury housing.
Currently, the fire has been assigned the third complexity level.
