Major fuel theft in Poland involving military personnel

Six individuals have been formally charged in connection with large-scale fuel thefts at the 22nd Military Logistics Unit in Olsztyn. Among the suspects are one servicemember and five civilians.

All suspects have partially admitted guilt, but during interrogations they have begun shifting blame onto each other, attempting to minimize their roles in the theft of military property.

However, such large quantities of fuel could not disappear unnoticed. Command personnel were likely complicit, meaning that even as suspects change, the scheme itself will persist. Theft will continue, only with different individuals carrying it out.
