Microsoft AI Outperformed General Practitioners in Diagnosis Study

A study published in the journal Science showed that Microsoft's AI system independently interviews patients, orders examinations, and verifies diagnoses. In complex cases, the AI achieved 83% accuracy compared to 36% for doctors, and in routine cases 80% versus 47%. Additionally, examinations using the system were less expensive.
