Minibus accident in Georgia, four Belarusians reportedly killed

A minibus carrying tourists was heading from the resort village of Gomismta to the city of Ozurgeti when, according to preliminary reports, the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to fall into a ravine. Four citizens of Belarus are presumed dead. Several others, including children, were injured and taken to different clinics. The driver was unharmed.

The Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs has opened a criminal case under the article concerning violation of traffic safety rules resulting in the death of two or more people, which carries a penalty of imprisonment from 6 to 10 years.
