Minsk doctors save 24-year-old man after severe truck accident

Doctors at Minsk's City Emergency Hospital saved a 24-year-old man, Maxim, after a severe accident in which he was trapped between two trucks. He suffered multiple rib fractures, damage to both lungs, and internal bleeding. Doctors connected him to an ECMO machine, which supported his lung function for 26 days. The man is now breathing independently and undergoing rehabilitation. Despite a pelvic fracture, he dreams of full recovery and marrying his beloved.
