Minsk Planetarium Nears Completion of Reconstruction with Unique Carl Zeiss Telescope Installed

The Minsk Planetarium is preparing to complete its reconstruction — the unique Carl Zeiss telescope has already been installed inside.

During the renovation, the Carl Zeiss 1950/130 telescope was temporarily dismantled and has now been returned to its place. The planetarium's new dome can rotate 360°.

Additionally, the spiral staircase has been restored, new stained-glass windows installed, engineering systems replaced, and the surrounding area improved.
