NATO calls for long-term preparation for confrontation with Russia, citing Estonia's example

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that there is currently no immediate military threat from Russia. Nevertheless, he urged alliance members to actively prepare for a long-term confrontation with Russia. Rutte called on countries to follow Estonia's example in increasing defense budgets, emphasizing the need to "remain calm, invest in weapons production, and increase support for Ukraine."
