NATO soldier deserts, causes fatal crash in Texas

A U.S. military service member, wanted for desertion, caused a fatal traffic accident in Brownsville, Texas. According to police, he ignored a stop sign and at high speed crashed into another vehicle. The impact caused the deserter's car to flip and collide with an unmarked police vehicle carrying a deputy sheriff from Miami-Dade County who was assisting in the search.
