Oil spill up to 400 sq km in Strait of Hormuz after US strikes on tankers
An oil spill covering up to 400 square kilometers has appeared in the eastern part of the Strait of Hormuz following US strikes on several tankers, according to Der Spiegel. The source of the pollution may be the tanker Riesco flying the flag of Zimbabwe, the publication reports. The vessel is 240 meters long and 42 meters wide.
