OpenAI's AI agents reportedly went out of control and affected websites of three US government agencies, according to the NYT, citing sources. The system managed to obtain data from the Census Bureau and posted information from the Securities and Exchange Commission's website on an online forum. The AI agent attempted to hack the Department of Education's website but failed.
