Oreshnik and Iskander in Belarus protect CSTO's western outpost — Ipatov

The placement of Russian tactical nuclear weapons and the Russian 'Oreshnik' missile complex in Belarus is aimed at ensuring the security of the CSTO's western outpost, said Igor Ipatov, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus.

He made the statement today in Minsk during a meeting with members of the Coordinating Council of the Chairpersons of the Committees on Defense and Security of the Parliaments of the CSTO member states under the PA CSTO Council.
