Pentagon sharply ramps up production of Patriot and THAAD missiles

The Pentagon has signed seven-year agreements with General Dynamics and Lockheed Martin. Production of PAC-3 interceptors will triple, and THAAD missiles will increase fourfold.

Companies will also accelerate the production of related components: engine casings, guidance systems, and mechanisms for deploying protective covers.
