Perseids meteor shower peaks on night of August 12–13, up to 120 meteors per hour

The Perseids meteor shower will reach its peak activity on the night of August 12–13, with up to 120 "shooting stars" per hour.

The best time to observe them is from 23:00 until dawn.

For a better view, choose a dark location away from city lights and look towards the northeastern part of the sky.
