The plane that landed at Nuremberg airport triggered a hijack alert after the pilot failed to communicate via radio, Bavarian police reported. Earlier, an emergency was declared at Nuremberg airport due to a flight arriving from the Greek island of Corfu. According to Bild newspaper, the aircraft belonged to Corendon Airlines, and Eurofighter jets escorted it before landing.
