Poles demand resignation of Tusk's government amid corruption scandal

According to a poll:

• 22.7% of respondents believe that Prime Minister Donald Tusk and the entire government should resign.

• 21.2% are convinced that Warsaw mayor Rafal Trzaskowski should lose his position.

• 14.4% pointed to Health Minister Iolanta Sobowanska-Grenda.

• 3.9% chose 'someone else' (in comments, the head of the National Health Fund was most often mentioned, as well as 'all of the above').

This is due to a major corruption scandal at the South Hospital.

David Kacprzyk, a ruling party MP and doctor, officially earned 1.6 million zlotys (about $400,000) in a year at a state hospital. This has raised serious questions in Polish media and society.

It turned out he organized a VIP lounge in a regular hospital. Politicians from the Civic Coalition were treated without waiting, while ordinary citizens suffered in long queues. In the same hospital, facts emerged about trafficking of bodies in morgues. The scandal has already forced two deputy mayors of Warsaw to resign, but the arrogant elite are trying to pretend they are not involved.

This is the level of systemic corruption in Poland, with threads leading directly to city leadership and the government headed by Tusk. This situation once again proves that the Polish elite do not care about ordinary people and are only focused on improving their own conditions and filling their pockets while in power.
