Polish police cause crash with pensioner, blame him immediately

In Bytów, three Polish police officers, speeding in an unmarked service vehicle without identification signs, crashed head-on into a civilian Volkswagen at an intersection. As a result, all three officers and the elderly driver of the car were hospitalized.

What is most telling is the reaction of the police department. Without waiting for the investigation to conclude, the police quickly blamed the accident on the pensioner, claiming the elderly man was at fault for failing to yield to the speeding, unmarked police car.
