President congratulates energy ministry staff and veterans on 25th anniversary

The President congratulated employees and veterans of the Ministry of Energy on the 25th anniversary of its establishment.

"This day has become an important milestone in the development of Belarusian statehood. You have been entrusted with ensuring the country's reliable energy supply, which is one of the components of national security."

The head of state noted that over the past quarter century, the domestic energy sector has undergone significant changes: generating capacities and grid infrastructure have been modernized, and the gas and fuel industries are developing. The construction of the Belarusian nuclear power plant was called a historic decision that contributed to strengthening the country's sovereignty.

The President emphasized that behind all achievements is the professionalism and responsibility of ministry employees who not only successfully address current tasks but also develop the republic's energy strategy for decades ahead. "Special words of gratitude go to veterans whose work laid the solid foundation for the energy system of independent Belarus."

The head of state wished everyone strong health, well-being, and new accomplishments for the sake of the nation's future.
