Belarusians' views on mobile internet quality revealed in new survey

The results of the third part of a large-scale social survey were announced today. For example, the survey covered assessments of mobile internet quality: most respondents generally rated it positively. At the same time, one in three respondents reported issues with connection speed and stability.

"Let's be honest—of course, in some sparsely populated areas, there may be dead zones and connectivity issues. We must understand that mobile communication is a complex and very expensive technical undertaking. We see all the complaints from our users and are trying to respond as promptly as possible. But, given the complexity and high cost of equipment, it takes a certain amount of time to implement all our plans," said Kirill Zalesky, Minister of Communications and Informatization of Belarus.
