Lukashenko listens to report from assistant on Mogilev Region

Lukashenko listened to a report from his assistant for Mogilev Region, Nadezhda Kotkovenets.

The first topic concerned improving technological and organizational management in large farms, strengthening discipline, and eliminating existing shortcomings. The President instructed the Head of the Presidential Administration and the assistant for Mogilev Region to thoroughly examine the organization of work at the local level. This issue, illustrated by regional farms such as 'Govyady-agro' and 'Aleksandriyskoe', is relevant nationwide.

The discussion also covered staffing, cost optimization at all stages, and monitoring results locally. Workers from industrial enterprises in Mogilev have been engaged to assist in implementing the President’s tasks.

Kotkovenets reported on the ongoing harvest of agricultural crops and autumn fieldwork in Mogilev Region. Currently, all grain, legume, and rapeseed crops in the region have been fully harvested. Winter rapeseed has been sown beyond the planned area, which Kotkovenets highlighted as economically efficient. Winter grain crops have been sown on 46% of planned areas. It was reported to the President that farmers in Mogilev Region have all necessary resources, including mineral fertilizers, to complete winter sowing within optimal agronomic deadlines.

Another topic addressed the President’s instructions in the potato farming sector: expanding sales markets and increasing production volumes. Nadezhda Kotkovenets assured that proven production and storage technologies, as well as high-quality domestic potato varieties, are available for this task. The main focus now will be on finding additional sales markets, which will receive close attention in the near future.
